GOHSENOL is the trade name of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH).
GOHSENOL is used in various industrial fields because of its
characteristics such as water solubility, bonding strength, film-forming
and chemical stability.
Also, Nippon Gohsei is focusing on the development and sales of its
own high-function PVOH with higher use suitability. So far, we have
launched specialty grade products that are only possible due to Nippon
Gohsei's proprietary technology, such as GOHSEFIMER-Z, which offers
excellent water-resistant adhesion in applications such as paper coating
for thermal paper and specialty paper, and wood adhesion;
GOHSENAL-T, which has proven results in paper coating applications;
GOHSENOL and GOHSEFIMER-LW as dispersing stabilizers for the
suspension polymerization of Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM); high-
quality GOHSENOL for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and others.
Nippon Gohsei produces GOHSENOL in three locations: the Mizushima
Plant, the Kumamoto Plant, and Singapore (POVAL ASIA Pte Ltd.).
